Castle Gillian: An Irish Tale is the a world-first 360˚ immersive film experience in virtual reality (VR) derived from the stage musical. The recipient of seven prestigious international Film awards, the musical can be viewed through any commercially available VR headset or on any smart device (i.e., iPhone, iPad or Android equivalent) by swiping or moving the smart device through 360˚
The 360˚ film version was created by Quill & Quaver Associates to facilitate how works of musical theatre can be realised to reach audiences globally.
Unconstrained by needing to attend bricks and mortar theatre buildings, or limited to only viewing 2D, flat screen, television-like performances, this incredible theatrical experience is eye-opening (and ear-opening) in realising the exciting new opportunities for immersive musical theatre.
